Meridian17 reads the documents behind each Global Gateway project in Africa: the financiers' own registers, the Commission's pages, tenders, parliamentary questions, reports and replies. A project appears here once its page has been written and checked by a person, the organisations named were offered a right of reply, and an editor released it. Every fact carries its source and its confidence; where sources disagree, both sides are shown.
