What we asked.

Policy debates on Africa–Europe trade and investment are rich in ambition and thin on the lived experience of the firms doing the work. To close that gap, we asked German businesses active in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa about their experience of these markets in a short survey.

The survey has now closed. Thank you to everyone who gave us seven minutes of their time — first-hand input from people who know these markets is worth more than any desk study. The study is run with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, and the findings will be published shortly.
